Stained Fingers on Thursday - A Review of Montblanc's Burgundy Red Ink

As a follow-up to last weekend's writing sample of Montblanc ink colors, I wanted to post this ink review, as soon as possible, so as to share this color with you. (I did not have a pen inked with Burgundy Red at the time of creating the writing sample.) With really wet pens, I quite like how rich this color is. As a burgundy ink, I find its greater tendency toward red more pleasing than burgundies, which tend toward pink, such as Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses.

Edit 10/2/2013: Re-scanned and added another pen.

This scan was done on an HP Deskjet F4280 at 600dpi.
Note: Because these scans are done with a light emitting printer, actual colors will, more likely than not, be slightly darker than they may appear, here. The colors shown, here, are probably a bit more reminiscent of what the ink would be like under a bright light or if it were held up and viewed with a light behind it.
